It’s a 3-peat!
Eisenhower Wins Oklahoma Academic Achievement
Award for Third Year in a Row

The Academic Achievement Award program was established in 2005 through state legislation as a way to give teachers incentive pay for boosting student achievement. The program recognizes schools that have attained one of three criteria: Highest Overall Student Achievement, Highest Annual Improvement in Student Achievement as measured by the Academic Performance Index (API), and an API score of 1,500 for regular education students tested.

Tulsa Public Schools is proud to announce that eight of our schools – more than any other district – were awarded! Anderson, Springdale, and Skelly Elementary Schools, and Madison Middle School were awarded for having the most improved Academic Performance Index in their respective category. Greeley Elementary met the criteria of a
perfect API for regular education students tested in their category. Hoover Elementary and Carnegie Elementary were recognized for having the highest overall student achievement in their category.

YOUR VERY OWN EISENHOWER INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL WAS AWARDED FOR HAVING THE HIGHEST OVERALL STUDENT ACHIEVEMENT IN OUR CATEGORY! This simply
means that no other school in the STATE OF OKLAHOMA that is our size had higher test scores than we did! We are the only school to win this award three years in a row!

We are very proud and excited about this great achievement. It takes a team effort to achieve this award: the certified teachers, the support staff, the students and, of course, the parents all played an important and vital role in this award.
