Tulsa Run Underwritten by a variety of community sponsors Community-based run held on a Saturday in the fall. October Phyllis Worthley
Triple Crown Award Tulsa Public Schools A certificate and a medal are awarded to any TPS student who participates in any three of the above five community-sponsored runs. End of October document is turned in.  Students turn in run numbers to Mrs. Worthley, who submits them in to the TPS PE Coor.   Phyllis Worthley
Jog-a-thon PTA Eisenhower students jog for 20 minutes and celebrate their accomplishment with a healthy snack. October Phyllis Worthley
Jump Rope Festival of Champions Tulsa Publics Schools This jump rope competition involves a variety of events combining speed, jump rope skills and accuracy.  The physical education teacher selects 30 students to participate, based on student tryouts.  Ribbons are awarded to all participants based on their performance. In November, held at Edison High School after school hours. Phyllis Worthley
Jump Rope for Heart American Heart Association Community-based activity teaches heart health and jump rope skills.  Students are encouraged to collect donations from 'sponsors' to help fight heart disease and stroke.  Thank you prized are given to students base on their level of donations. All-City Track Meet Tulsa Public Schools 4th and 5th grade students are selected (based on tryouts) to represent EIS as a team.  Traditional track events are included.  Ribbons are awarded to all participants based on their performance May Phyllis Worthley
