Science Fair Tulsa Public
Schools
Required in grades 3 - 5, and option in younger grades (individual and/or class projects), the Science Fair encourages students to undertake a scientific research project that applies the Scientific Method. Students display projects and project boards at a school science fair. Independent judges select three winners to advance to the District level competition. Teachers send home detailed instructions to students far in advance, detailing the sequential steps for successful completion of projects. Spring -
varies from
year to year.

This interactive Internet science project allows students to electronically visit and interact with scientists in a field study situation. This year's focus focuses on ocean study. This activity is being facilitated by classroom teachers in
grades 3 -5.

Enrichment
 
PTA Science Enrichment is offered to 3rd to 5th grade students
in the classroom. Teachers select units from an offering of
up to 9 units in physical science and 3 in life science for
each grade.
