This special event is the culminating learning activity for the 2nd quarter social studies focus: Cultural Explorations. Each class in grades K-4 study a country and represent it through informational displays, performance, arts and crafts in their classroom, which is transformed into a market place booth. Students 'earn' tickets for their booth development and production of culturally realated 'wares' (arts/crafts) that they sell at the end-of-unit Bazaar. The Bazaar is an evening event featuring student performances, the classroom booths and international cuisine. Families are invited.
