WANTED: FAMILY BASKETS
Fiestivale
needs family baskets for the silent auction! Every year,
these family “theme” baskets play such a big part of the
auction. We would love for your family to participate!
Basket values can
be any price range and the themes are unlimited. Your family can
create your own basket or even join together with one or
several families and easily create something wonderful
with very little individual effort. Be creative and have fun!
Some basket theme ideas include: All About Art, Cats and Dogs,
Rainy Day, Tool Time, Father’s Day/Mother’s Day, Teacher
Appreciation, Summer Fun, Everything French, Fiesta, Martini
Time . . . .You get the idea!
Just because we
are calling them “baskets” doesn’t mean you can’t really get
creative and use one of your theme items as the container for
the goodies. For example, for a “Gardening” theme – you might
use a clay pot or watering can to hold all the items.
Interested in
participating? YES!
Here is what
you need to do:
By Friday,
March 27th, complete and return the “Donation Form” to the
Fiestivale box in the office. Forms are available on the rack
outside of the office. You may also print one from the EIS
website at
www.eisenhowerinternational.org/fiestivale.
Create your
basket. Please use cellophane or shrink-wrap to cover the
basket. The Fiestivale committee will not be
responsible for wrapping the baskets or providing the materials.
Make a basket
description sheet. The description sheet should include the
name of the basket, the individual items listed, and the donor
family’s name. You will need 2 copies of this. Please
have both copies attached/taped on the cellophane/shrink-wrap
when you turn in the basket.
Between April
1st – 9th, deliver your basket to the library with both
copies of the basket description sheet attached.
On Saturday,
April 18th, join us at “Fiestivale” at The Jazz Depot to bid
on someone else’s family basket!
