Dear Parents:
We will kick off the month
of November by having our Fall Parent
Teacher Conferences on November 2nd and 3rd.
If you have not already done so, please
schedule your conference with your child’s
teacher today! Our goal is to have 100%
participation!
Tulsa Global Alliance is our oldest “Partner
in Education” at Eisenhower. Every other
year, they put on “Kid’s World, The
Children’s International Festival” at the
Tulsa Fairgrounds. The festival runs from
Thursday through Sunday and our school is
always a big part of this festival. We will
have a booth displaying information on
Morocco and Guatemala. Students will
supervise the booth as well as parent
volunteers. If you would like to volunteer
to help, please email me and I will sign you
up! Kindergarten through 5th grade will
perform at the Festival on Friday, November
10th. We are scheduled to perform from
10-12. We hope you can make it out to the
Festival to support TGA and our school!
The second quarter began on October 26th. We
are setting another goal and encouraging
every student to have “Perfect Attendance”.
Remember, to qualify for perfect attendance
a student may not be tardy or leave early.
We will hand out certificates for 1st
Quarter Perfect Attendance at the November
13th Rise and Shine Assembly.
A special thank you goes out to Mrs. Emily
Wood and all the families who were directly
involved with the Spanish Exchange this
year. It is coming to a close and it has
been a smashing success! The entire school
has benefited from this event and we could
have not done it without you! The EIS
Ambassadors will return home on November
18th at 12:10 pm and the SLP Ambassadors
will leave on November 25th at 6:45 am. We
will have a “Welcome Home/Farewell” Assembly
on November 21st at 2:15 P.M. Again, thank
you for giving so much and helping us with
this program!
We want to wish you and your family a “Happy
Thanksgiving”. Remember, we will not have
school on November 22nd, 23rd, and 24th due
to the holiday!
