December 2005
Dear Parents,
While December is always one
of the busiest times for families, EIS is
going to try to do the opposite by planning
limited activities.
On December 15th, Eisenhower
will hold its first “International Fair”.
Each class has picked a country to study and
will present what they have learned on a
table in the gym on the 15th. Our vision is
something similar to a science fair. Each
class has a special time allotted to them to
tour the “Fair”. ETC students are even
conducting some of the tours! Parents are
welcome to come anytime during the day of
the 15th to tour the fair and learn about
the countries with our students!
Three Eisenhower teachers
have been working for over a year to obtain
National Board Certification. We found out
right before Thanksgiving that all THREE
have obtained their goal and passed their
National Boards. Please join us in
celebrating Leonardo DeAndrade, Barbara
McCrary, and Robin Martinet’s
accomplishment! Congratulations to all
three!
The Eisenhower staff has
selected their “Employees of the Year”.
Congratulations to Robin Martinet, Teacher
of the Year and to Naty Mari, Support
Employee of the Year. Two well deserved
recognitions!
Due to winter break, we will
not be in school from December 22- Jan. 2nd.
We, the staff at EIS, would like to wish
each of you and your families “Happy
Holidays”. We hope you enjoy your time
together and have a very “Happy New Year”.
See you on January 3, 2006!
